Sight is the most important one of our senses and has an increased importance in the information society we live in today. With a strong focus on research, Santen is dedicated to developing new and better methods and medicines for treating eye diseases. We have two research and development centers, one in Japan and one in Finland. Most of Santen’s products for the European and US markets are manufactured in Finland.
During the past decade, Santen has strengthened its position as a major ophthalmic pharmaceutical products supplier in Europe. Our biggest markets are Germany, Russia, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Santen will be one of the leading companies in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical field in Europe.
